Research

Jheon Laboratory

My laboratory is interested in the molecular and cellular mechanisms of tooth development, renewal, and movement. The ultimate goal is to innovate or improve upon current preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic methods in dentistry by translating biological data from basic research for application into the clinic. We utilize genetically modified mouse models to gain further understanding of the functional roles of genes and signaling pathways. Please contact the laboratory for additional information regarding specific projects.
