About the PI

I received my Ph.D. in Biochemistry and my D.D.S. degrees from the University of Toronto. I did my postdoctoral fellowship in the Departments of Orthopedic Surgery and Orofacial Sciences at UCSF. As a clinician-scientist, I am always looking to translate knowledge from the laboratory into the clinic, however, my main interest is in basic biological research.
